There has been a lot of buzz around turmeric. It is relatively a new health trend. It is praised for its ability to reduce inflammation. However, when it comes to using turmeric as an anti-inflammatory, there are some things that you should keep in your mind.

Turmeric is a spice that comes from the root of a turmeric plant. It’s related to ginger, but it has a warm, pungent, and bitter taste. A substance of turmeric, called Cur cumin, reduces inflammation in our bodies. It is also considered as an antioxidant compound. We can use turmeric to our skin for pain or swelling. The essential oil that comes from turmeric can be used in perfume as well.

You can use turmeric powder in smoothies, curries, and even in salads. We tend to eat a lot of yellow foods. We can use turmeric powder in these yellow foods so that it can help reduce inflammation from our body. Adding some black pepper along with turmeric may boost absorption.
